21m2, only for a single person or a couple (bed is 1,20 x 90cm - one and a half person bed!). Private bathroom with european toilets + hot water and a small equipped kitchen with a gaz stove and a fridge. Washing machine available and room cleaning every 3/4 days. It's usually a very quiet place but it can get noisy when there are Hindu festivities in the nearby temples.
There is a good restaurant 2 minutes walk away (Roma's Kitchen) and many others 5 minutes drive away including Auroville Bakery. You'll need a vehicle to move around, it's easy to rent scooters. 10/20min drive to the city center (Visitor's Center/Solar Kitchen/Matrimandir). 20/30min drive to Pondy. 10min drive to Serenity Beach (you can take surf lessons there). 20min drive to Srima Beach (Tanto restaurant + swimming pool + nice beach).
The price is 990rs/night and if you stay 2 weeks or more the price can decrease.
If you are a Volunteer or Newcomer (single person), in low season it's 7 000rs/month so feel free to ask.
