Terms & Conditions
Booking & Registration
Auroville has many different guesthouses who all have their own specific atmosphere, management and policies. Room fees can include different services, specified on the website or to be received by email from the manager. Room fees and advances may include an administration fee, but they will not include travel or transportation costs, unless as an exception, in which case it will be clearly mentioned. No claims can be made unless there is written proof of agreement. Consumption of alcohol or drugs, or the use of violence is not permitted in Auroville guest houses. Confirmation of bookings are depending on guest house manager approval and partial or full advance payment.
Refund Policy
All advances are by default non-refundable, but each guesthouse manager can decide to refund part or total of the advance paid. Transfer of canceled bookings to another person is possible only with written approval of the guesthouse manager. If the manager agrees to a partial or full refund, the refund will happen through the exact same channel through which the advance payment was received. Guests who paid by credit or debit card will be refunded directly to their credit or debit cards. Guests who paid by cheque or Demand Draft (DD) will be refunded by a cheque only. Similarly guests who paid by an online account transfer will be refunded by a direct account transfer. All refunds will be made within 15 business days from the cancellation date.
